Initial Interview and needs assesment
Peer Support Group: Weekly sessions allow families to interact with peers who have suffered similar losses and to express their fears, anger, guilt and sadness in a safe and loving environment. Each family situation determines the length of group participation, the average period is one year.
Art, music, therapeutic pets and other tools help promote the healing process.
Volunteer training for persons interested in assisting the Center with it's mission of serving grieving children and their families.
Education for the community - professional workshops
Internship opportunities are available for undergraduate and graduate students in the fields of counseling, social work, marketing, and child development.
Crisis Intervention for the community following a sudden death
Referrals are made to other agencies as needed.
